PEOPLE, PLACES & THINGS FROM A TO Z: TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY

Q is for Quaint

Quirky, quizzical, Qabalah, Q-source, QAnon, and quack are a few of the quaint words that begin with Q. Quaint in meaning and quaint because only the letter Z begins fewer English words than Q. Thank goodness for Spanish and French which bring you this installment of “People, Places and Things From A to Z.”

SPANISH-THEMED PHOTOGRAPHY

For decades Quintana’s Barbershop offered haircuts and camaraderie to Texas ranchers, transplanted Manhattanites, and minimalist artists. The above photo is all the more special to me because after the shop sold in 2019, a fire heavily damaged the building and destroyed the interior.

FRENCH-THEMED PHOTOGRAPHY

Quebec Canada and Quillan, France complete this Q-trip.
