People, Places & Things From A to Z, The O List
By Norman Carr

My photos related to the letter O extend from coast to coast to coast and up rivers to faraway places with strange sounding names: Onyar, Opatija, and Ocracoke.
Ocean to Ocean - North America
The Olson House (Maine) and Ocracoke (North Carolina) are on the east coast.
Oysterville (Washington) is on the west coast. The Saint Lawrence River surrounds Île d'Orléans (Quebec).
European Waterways
Opatija (Croatia) is on the Adriatic Sea. Onyar River flows through Girona, Spain.
Visit my website for more information on each photo.
A Spiritual Oasis and a Desert Oasis
Orval Abbey offers pilgrims a respite and a good brew in the Gaume region of Belgium. Even in the desert of Big Bend National Park, nights can be cool and verdant in November.
NEXT STOP THE LETTER “P”
Coming soon might be Peggy’s Cove (Nova Scotia), Portland (Oregon), Pike Place Market (Seattle), Pontiac (Tucumcari), Packard (Council Grove), Pelicans, Plitvice Lakes National Park (Croatia), The Prater (Vienna), Café Prückel (Vienna), Paradise Bungalows (Lake Louise), Ponderosa Restaurant (Magdalena), Pula (Croatia), Pumpkins (Jamesport), and Le Petit Café (Collioure).
